Initial Consultations and Our Intake Process
At NachtLaw, P.C., we understand that seeking legal help often comes at a stressful and uncertain time. We review every inquiry with care and respect, but as a boutique firm committed to high-quality representation, we cannot accept every case. Our goal is to ensure that each client we represent receives the time, attention, and resources their matter deserves.
Consultation Options
We offer both free and paid initial consultations. While NachtLaw may offer a free initial consultation in some situations, there is no guarantee that we will offer a free consultation to every potential client.
A free consultation is typically limited in scope and may involve only a preliminary screening to understand the basic nature of your matter. Attorneys do not provide document review, legal analysis, or formal advice during these screenings and free consultations.
A paid consultation provides a comprehensive review of your situation. Our attorneys will evaluate the facts, review relevant documents, explain your rights and potential claims, and discuss the merits, risks, and possible strategies. Fees for paid consultations are communicated clearly in advance.
Regardless of the type of consultation, any information you share is protected by attorney-client privilege and remains confidential—even if you do not retain our firm.
Fee Agreement Options
The main types of fee agreements we offer are contingency fees (a percentage of the settlement paid only if the client wins), hourly fees (paid for time spent), flat or fixed fees (a single, predetermined charge for a specific service), and mixed fee agreements for cases. Fee agreements are best determined by the attorney during the initial consultation as such a determination is individualized.
Our Intake Process
We receive a high volume of calls and emails from individuals seeking representation, and we review every inquiry with care. As a small firm dedicated to providing high-quality advocacy, we can only accept cases to which we can devote the time, attention, and resources necessary for effective representation. This means we must be selective, and we often cannot take every case—even those involving serious or compelling situations. This selectivity reflects our commitment to maintaining strong client relationships and delivering the highest level of service our clients rely on.
We appreciate the trust you place in us when reaching out and look forward to hearing from you. Call us today at 866-965-2488 or send us an email to arrange for a consultation.
